AVAL

Assessment for Vulnerability And Lethality
(AVAL) is a general purpose simulation software package for the assessment of weapon lethality and target vulnerability.

It is developed to be used as a stand alone system running on PC under MS Windows.

AVAL is a common software package to be used for all different types of targets (ground, aerial and naval) and damage phenomena.

A description of a warhead carrier to use in the simulation contains a fuze system with sensors and warheads with warhead effects.

A target description contains geometry, protection, phenomenon dependant data, vital part damage criteria and a fault tree to evaluate effects of damages.
