The 200 million SEK (approximately
$ 25 million) contract includes ammunition and two prototypes of the
self-propelled howitzer, which are scheduled to be delivered to the
army by in 2005.
– This is of great
strategic importance for Bofors Defence and a major step towards the
next generation of Swedish artillery, said Hans Pettersson, Project
Manager.
– This contract strengthens our
position with the Swedish Army as a potential provider of
intelligent ammunition for future missions.
