Quality Assurance/Quality Development
General
At
the same time as the procurement of defence material takes place the
customer demands a quality assurance system covering our products
and services.
Quality assurance
is all those planned and systematic
operations that are necessary to give sufficient credibility to
a product or service, in order to fulfil the requirements on quality.
Application
The Bofors Defence quality system is adapted and certified in accordance
with the international standards SS-EN ISO 9001, TickIT and AQAP
110.
Future
At Bofors Defence it is our intention that
total quality will characterize our operations.
This means
quality in everything we do, both in our work with external
customers and in our internal relations. For several years we have
had a programme, within the framework of a process-oriented approach
and operation system, for our long-term quality development.
This
means , among other things, applying the criteria in
accordance with Utmärkelse Svensk Kvalitet (USK) for measuring,
analysis and further development.
The purpose of the
programme is to make Bofors Defence one of the leaders in the area
of quality and operations development.
