Bofors Defence develop advanced defence materiel where the focuses are on R&D, systems integration and maintenance/logistics support throughout the product life cycle. 

The Business Unit develops, markets and maintains smart weapon systems within the fields of indirect fire, combat vehicle turrets, naval gun and Air Defence gun systems. 

Our company is starting to become a very big player on the international market although the Swedish Defence Forces is still one of our biggest customer.

Bofors Defence is owned by the American United Defense corporate family, which is represented all around the globe. 

Bofors Defence is situated in Karlskoga and has 550 employees of whom more than 50% are directly involved in R&D.
